ABOUT
The Ghost City Go Club began with two members and four handmade boards in late 2017. Since then, it has steadily grown -many of the current members learned and played their first games with the club.
We still meet weekly, to Play, Study and Teach.
EDUCATION
“Ten minutes to learn; a lifetime to master.”
The primary mission of the club is education. We have developed our own instructional pamphlets, provided free to new players. Stop by for a free lesson and pamphlet. We love teaching new players.
VIDEO KIFU PROJECT
“Kifu” (Game Records) are kept by go players for game review and for archival/historical purposes. The earliest surviving Go game records are collected in the book Wangyou Qingle Ji, written by Li Yimin around 1100 AD.

GOBANS
The first Goban's made by the club were purely practical. Over time the methods and tools improved and a distinctive style began to emerge.
